Grandparents Weeks

It has been grandparents week around here. The kids were def. spoiled by all the attention! We had fun even though it rained the entire time both my dad and then Michele were here! But we managed a couple trips to Santa Cruz and San Jose.

We ate Thai food with my dad, hung out on the pier, played guitar, made pizzas and of course made doughnuts. (more pics' to follow)

Aiden has been learning how to play the keyboard with Michele and how to ride a bike without training wheels.

It was a fun couple weeks and now the kids are back to hanging out alone wondering where everyone went.

Boot Camp

Okay so tomorrow morning I have my first Boot Camp workout at the park. Ugh! So nervous to be working out in a giant group of people doing stuff I have never done before. It is a 12 week Best Body Challenge where we meet every Saturday for the next 12 weeks for our Boot Camp workout. We also have to include our before pictures, can I please say that it is really embarrassing to include the pics! Now I know how the Biggest Loser people feel!

Anyways I have 10 pounds to get back to my pre pregnancy weight, but somehow after having Layla my entire body seemed to shift into an odd shape that I no longer recognize. So this is my start to get back to being me. All you moms know how I feel, you have a baby and ugh your body is no longer your body and you feel like how will I ever get it back? I know I will feel better once I lose some pounds and get into shape so hopefully I can really stick with it. My hard time is my sweet tooth, I could survive on a chocolate diet and be totally fine! Well wish me luck! Hopefully I don't pass out or throw up tomorrow morning, I have a feeling it's going to be brutal!

I am sure there is a ton to say but all I can think about is how tired I am! Layla has decided to get a couple teeth during the time my dad and Caseys mom are here, a lovely vacation for people with a screaming during the night baby. Ugh! I swear she is such a mellow kid and right now she is inconsolable. How many doses of tylenol and teething tablets does a kid need? Maybe the parents should be the ones taking the painkillers!

Santa

Aiden is really into Santa this year, in fact a couple of times when he was misbehaving I called the elf's and told them, Aiden was good right after the call! Layla was not a big fan on the bearded one, immediately when she was put on his lap she was super freaked out. So our pictures at the POA hall with Santa this year were not so great! Every day Aiden asks if it is Christmas yet and makes sure his stocking is set up and ready to go. Today he wrote his letter to Santa, that way he would know we would be in NY for Christmas.

Family Pics

Just got back from Huntington Beach for Thanksgiving and Melissa took a bunch of pics for us. Sorry for people that already have seen them on FaceBook, but I never know who is looking at what these days! We had a crazy time, went to Disneyland, forced Aiden onto rides like Tower of Terror and now he tells me he doesn't want to go back! I blame Casey.... Layla learned how to walk and crawl and has a top tooth coming in so our house if officially crazy. Last night I found the rubber door stop thing in Laylas mouth so Aiden and I have been child proofing!
